Graduate Residency Fellowship

Clay Shed, in partnership with the Careers and Employability Department at Bath Spa University, is pleased to offer a fully funded six-month Graduate Residency Fellowship commencing in October 2025.

This opportunity is open to one final-year undergraduate student from BA Creative Arts Practice or Fine Art course. The residency is designed to support and nurture emerging artistic talent, offering a dedicated platform for early-career artists to develop and expand their professional practice. This is a unique opportunity for a graduate student to immerse themselves in a professional ceramic studio environment, enhancing their artistic practice and gaining valuable experience in the field.

The graduate residency fellowship includes:

● Full-time 24/7 access to the studio

● Personal storage space consisting of 5 shelves for materials, tools and work in progress

● Use of communal working spaces and access to all studio equipment

● Technical training in clay management, glazing and kiln firings

● Opportunities to participate in our peer group crit sessions

● 10% discount off courses and artist-led workshops
